Milly...

What a show. A powerful, striking collection that has well and truly established itself as a leader for SS11. Starting with a suspicious picnic blanket dress, the collection morphed into summer girl grown up with beautifully structured pieces. Lots of monochrome pieces with a brightly coloured jackets and cardigans, which is a typical 'me' look. The key pieces for me were the ladybird shift dress with a gorgeous orange belted waist, black, white and green jumper and orange floral skirt - which was a bit of a jumbled kind of look but seemed to work so well. Next up on the list; the scoop neck strappy sun dress with a gorgeous bold 70's kind of print, then a stunning floral print dress, gorgeous peplum skirt (worn with a crochet hat - which although was so wrong for the season it looked so right!) and the orange floral print trousers which created the most magnificent shape worn with a black tunic type top. The collection is to die for, and brought bold print after bold print out onto the catwalk. Absolutely stunning, and possibly one of my favourites so far. Obviously a couple of my favourites are pictures below...
