A bit of this and that...

So while I'm still saddened by the fact that I will not be in New York for the forthcoming weeks activities - starting from Friday with Fashion's Night Out, I'm also happy after a lovely day at my internship. Today I spent my day focusing on trends and I found myself drawn to Celine so many times. I love the straight steamline shapes, luxurious materials and pristine yet slightly edgy looks. I also laid my eyes on a couple of gorgeous winter coats - which is all that is on my mind at the minute because I am genuinely excited about winter! Roll on the days of chunky knits, faux fur, boots and mittens! Summer is too much effort for me, too much bare skin on show and I like to wrap up.

Also, my boyfriend showed me a fantastic video last night, called 'The Beat of New York' by a German film agency called Stereoscreen. It completely and elegantly captures the essence of New York that I fell in love with. The speed of the hustle and bustle, the flickering skyline, and constant flow of different faces. I love it, have a watch for yourself.
