My all time favourite (as you may have gathered from my constant blabbering about his collections) and he has successfully lived up to expectations with his Marc by Marc Jacobs SS11 collection. The collection had the classic Marc by Marc Jacobs stamp all over it, with a playful, laidback feel to it. Round collared blouses (my absolute favourite), full skirts and sundresses, high leg bikini briefs. Jumpsuits, rompers and trapeze line dresses. Bright bold stripes and pretty polka dots; yellow and white, blue and white, black and orange, red and white. Side ruffles, frilly fringing and canvas shoes.
One word sprung to mind when looking at the collection; mouthwatering. I love how each and every time the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection never fails to deliver. I had to narrow down my favourites - I was tempted to upload a picture of them all, but after my gushing I think you can gather I liked the collection, so you can see my very favourites below...
