Sleek Shapes at YSL...

The majority of the collection was beautiful. Mass volumes of black in sleep shapes, belted jackets, straight line jumpsuits worn with electric blue heels. Then the collection moved into texture, a turquoise silk dress worn with a cape, a purple silk shift worn with elegant long gloves.

My favourites were the stunning black and purple ruffled jacket, nipped in at the waist with a bow, worn with sheer trousers. Elegant but playful springs to mind. Another gorgeous textured half cape in what can only be described as an 'off yellow' worn with matching shift dress. A chiffon topped dress, with yet again, a gorgeous textured bottom half which looks as delicate as tissue paper. A black lined plastic jacket, trimmed with black and green fur with sleeves like wings. An absolutely stunning collection - minus one or two pieces. Which has set the standard for Autumn/Winter wear.

Lots of texture with dashings of colour, belted waists, gigantic hats, capes, funnel shaped cover-ups and long chains. Beautiful...
