Clog out of choice?

Fashionable in the 70's and when you were five years old, with their little slingbacks and bold colours, but since then clogs disappeared off the fashion radar. Shoes were about elegance, and clogs were far too chunky and clunky to be accepted. Enter Chanel and their stylish 'Milkmaid' look. In between broderie anglaise jackets with puffs at the shoulders, tweed mini's with daring splits, and lacy hold ups worn with pretty lace dresses were clogs, Chanel's footwear of choice. Extremely fitting for the feel of the line they have now become one of the most wanted items for the summer. Still as chunky as ever but with a sense of delicacy too with the applique detail on the front. Given the exclusive seal of approval by Alexa Chung, put your best foot forward in a paid of Chanel clogs this summer...
