Louis Vuitton Fall 2010...

Their ad campaign for Fall 2010 has been unveiled and shows just why Marc Jacobs was cast as creative director of the brand. Selecting three stunning ladies - Christy Turlington, Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova who were not actually part of the runway show. The beautiful 50's feel to the campaign speaks in high volume about the collection. Decadent, old style glamour and voluptuous - think Betty Draper.

Speaking about the campaign, Jacobs said; "This season we are working with three of the most beautiful women, I think, in the world, a blonde, brunette, and a redhead."

Cadburys in hot water (or chocolate should that be?)...

The iconic imagery of Kate Moss floating above the catwalk draped in layers of swooshing fabric surely springs to mind when you see the new Cadbury Flake advert right? Well the McQueen house thought so too and might be set to sue the chocolate giant on the grounds that it is just too similar to their previous works. But the story goes deeper...the brains who McQueen collaborated with to produce the iconic imagery also happens to be the same brain behind the advert for Cadbury. Hence the similarities.

Cadbury are adamant that they have done nothing wrong as it was Baillie Walsh's creative flourish and not theirs. Surely imitation is imitation, and their brand name is slapped all over it so technically Cadbury are in hot water...

Megan Fox...

Being kicked out of her role in Transformers has done her extremely well it seems. She's managed to secure herself as the face of Emporio Armani underwear for a second season. The classic black and white shots add to the simplicity of the ad campaign that is set to launch in July and make Miss Fox look somewhat spectacular (minus the tattoo - in my opinion!).

The Outnet...

It's chic-onomics right? Or not if their first birthday sale was anything to go by. However, news has emerged today that the designer outlet website is to launch a Balmain sale - with up to 85% off! Now, if their serves don't crash due to 'unexpected amount of visitors' this could be extremely promising. Will their site stand the test of time? Or will it be a 1st birthday let down round two?

Pineapple Dance Studios No More...

Sky1 has announced that car crash television programme Pineapple Dancce Studios will not be returning for season 2. Sky has refused to comment on why they are taking the programme off the air but newspapers today claim that Debbie Moore, the studio owner, is the reason behind the series not continuing. I'm sure Louie Spence is going to find a way back on to television screens, by hook or by crook...

The meeting of two new faces...

Who is it this time? Alexa Chung and Lacoste, an unlikely combination you might think - I did too. But Lacoste are obviously trying to direct the fragrance towards the more fashion concious and getting Ms. Chung on board to be the first celebrity face of the designer fragrance is obviously suspected to do just the trick. Only time will tell if the fragrance hits the right (fashionable) notes...

CFDA 2010...

The annual CFDA Awards were held at the Alice Tulley Hall at the Lincoln Centre in New York last night. Amongst the stir caused by the winners were the stirs caused by the outfits, with many a celebutante starlet putting their best foot forward in elegant gowns.

Hills turned City girl Whitney Port opted for a floor length David Meister gown which gathered at the centre exposing her back in a very relaxed LA glamour manner. Emilie de Ravin went floral, but toned down floral in grey and white hues and white peep toe heels. Gossip Girl favourites Ed Westwick and Michelle Trachtenberg stayed true to their Gossip Girl alter egos, Ed Westwick kept things playful a la Chuck Bass in a sharp grey suit with an open shirt and a polka dot pocket square while Michelle's flawless pale complexion looked incredible against her bold purple dress. Rachel Weiz looked absolutely stunning in a purple floral Jason Wu shift dress and Alexa Chung kept up the feminine feel to the evening in a beautiful long sleeved Marc Jacobs dress with crystal bow detailing on the front while Gwyneth Platrow opted for a beautiful sparkling Michael Kors fishtail gown.

SJP took to the stage to present Alexander McQueen's Special Tribute Award in nothing other than a McQueen creation. Following SJP's speech his final collection was displayed. It was an extremely glamorous affair, but nothing less expected from the CFDA Awards.

Urban Outfitters...

Are in the limelight for all the wrong reasons at the minute. They have created quite a stir after featuring a ladies t-shirt with a slogan reading 'Eat Less'. Some people have read into it as promoting an unhealthy body image while others maintain it's just a t-shirt. I do tend to think it could promote an unhealthy body image in a world where we're all so fixated no how we look. The description reads "Eat less or more or however much you'd like in this seriously soft knit tee cut long and topped with a v-neck."

But is the intent of the creation of this tee innocent or is it actually promoting anorexia?

Too Pretty to Open...

I have a thing for bows, as you might have guessed. For me there is no better accessory than a bow in your hair or bow detailling on your outfit. And the Red Valentino Bow detailed t-shirt is definitely one to add to my favourites. The basic grey jersey tee lets the black tulle bow be the centre of attention. Wear with a full skirt like American Apparel's full woven skirt and make your look a touch more decadent with their multi layered petticoat underneath and frilly ankle socks for a look sweet enough to induce tooth ache...

Clogging Around...

One minute I like them, the next I don't. I can't seem to make my mind up on the Dutch specimen of footwear. But a few have caught my eye. Topshop's Laurel Patent Buckle Clogs are a contemporary twist on the clog in burgundy, navy blue and cream. They're a little more contemporary than the typical clog shape and are somewhat more wearable even after the clog is so last year.
