Chanel goes icy...

Spectators looked on as the set for Chanel's Fall/Winter 2010 at the Grand Palais was revealed. The walls were lifted to reveal 35 different shaped icebergs which over time slowly melted leaving the models treading on water as they sashayed down the catwalk. Gorgeous tweed edged with fax fur, worn with faux fur skirts and knee high yeti-boots. Full faux fur coat imitating a yeti suit. Tweet coats edged with fur, black dresses and leather and typical black and white tweed Chanel suits. The show then moved to show the stunning white collection showing gorgeous decadent mohair dresses, teared dresses with icicles hanging from the hem, clear gem jewels and the most spectacular lace and embellished dress finished with a band of faux fur. An absolutely spectacular collection that could bring a tear to even the coldest eyes. Karl Lagerfield is a genius. As he said;

"you can not fake chic but you can be chic in fake fur..."
