Although the tones were a lot more subdued than at the Versace show, the Max Mara show was just as show stopping. Tones may have been subdued but for them it was all about texture. Iconic silk jumpsuits that looked a lot like velvet to the far away eye, thick cashmere and camel hair coats. Corduroy and lamé pants. Traditional shapes, romantic feelings and masculine styled belted waists creating stunning silhouettes. All outfits teamed with riding boots. A gorgeous uniformed yet feminine feel to the line.
